Now is my busy time but I have to go to public office to renewal my driver's license. So I returned to my home town yesterday, and Today I went to go birding to my birding field. Many flowers of Cherry Blossoms were so beautiful. Also birds looked happy because they could forage the nectar of flowers. Today I will write about Brown-eared Bulbul.
They foraged nectars and buds at random. Today I ate it, the taste was a little sweet. A flock consisted with 30 individuals that during migration was observed Today. Maybe nectars of flowers are the important resource of the energy for migration. You can image the efficiency for assimilation of energy with nectar by the fact that Hummingbirds use it for alive. Brown-eared Bulbul is really common in Japan, they distributed Japan to Philippine. Last March I visited Taiwan, but they were not common. Family Bulbuls (Pycnonotidae) are largely speciated in Oriental region and Africa. Oriental region contains the largest species number of this family in this World. Brown-eared Bulbul is the one of the Northern species of family bulbul, so Japanese should observe eagerly this species, but almost all Japanese birder use to be watching this Bulbul.
ヒナウチワカエデ (Acer tenuifolium) Maple 160416 Ibaraki
They foraged this flowers and buds. The pinkish flowers are small but beautiful. The buds looked like the berries of something.
ヤマザクラ (Cerasus jamasakura) Japanese cherry 160416 Ibaraki
The most famous species of cherry blossoms is "Cerasus × yedoensis" that Japanese name is "Someiyoshino". But I'm prefer Cerasus jamasakura. more than Someiyoshino. Flowering time of Cerasus jamasakura is a little late than Someiyoshino and now is the season. So Today I could enjoy watching it.
